BADP provides the following services for people with disabilities in Brent.
Information/Advice:
This service assists Disabled People to know their rights and what services are available to them. We provide:
- Information
- Advice
- Advocacy
- Blue badge support
- News Letter
- Housing support
- Sign posting to specialist advisors
- Multiple Sclerosis Outreach
Welfare Rights:
The team assist people in checking which benefits they are entitled to and in completing the relevant forms. They can help with:
- Disability Living Allowance
- Income Support
- Housing Benefit and Tax Credits
- Child Tax Credits
- Working Tax credits
- Employment Support Allowance
- Pension Credits
- Representation at tribunals
- Blue badge applications
- Freedom pass applications
The team is very experienced and can make home visits in exceptional circumstances.
Volunteering:
Volunteering for BADP is both enjoyable and rewarding.
By volunteering you can:

We particularly need help in the following areas:
- Befriending
- Hospital visiting
- Gardening
- Help in the home
- DIY
- Help with shopping
- Escorting to shops, GP’s, etc
We will:
- Provide training
- Reimburse you for travel and/or lunch
- Invite you to events
- Help you in your job search activities

Multiple Sclerosis Outreach
This service provides support, advice, information and advocacy to people with MS who want to access services and life opportunities. Open Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. Home visits available. Everybody is welcome.
